Memorial Day 2008, Temple City, California

On this Memorial Day, 2008, Temple Web Press would like to remember all of those who have fought and laid down their lives at the alter of freedom. Such a costly sacrifice must be remembered by all who enjoy freedom in these great United States and the rest of the world. Our great City of Temple City has many heroes locally who in the past and present have fought in the name of liberty as well.

Recently our City had the great honor of hosting the Vietnam Wall Memorial, Moving Wall, during May 15^th through the 18^th at our City Civic center. Many Residence of Temple City and surrounding areas came to show there remembrance and pay tribute to the fallen heroes of the Vietnam War. An eerie 58,000 plus names are scribed on this moving wall which stretched over 120 feet long. Flowers and personalized stories from family members and friends were left at the base of the wall telling stories of great heroism and the message…
