As many are aware Isaac Campbell, of San Gabriel is wanted for questioning in connection with the gruesome trash can death discovery of his Chinese girl friend, Liya "Jessie" Lu. Temple Web Press corespondents were at the location were the body was discovered on Saturday, September 16, in the 1700 block of South Baldwin Avenue in Arcadia. Our Reporter Roger Mclane, not knowing what the case was about yet, observed roughly 15 detectives cars, one black and white unit, and a white crime scene forensics van. Mclane reports that detectives had yellow tape around the front of the house located on the east side of Baldwin and flood lights lighting an area about 35 feet into the drive way from the street. Detectives gathered around one specific point of interest that we now know was the body of lu. An L.A. County Coroner van later showed up to remove the body.
The suspect Isaac Campbell is still wanted by the authorities. "Do the Right thing Isaac and turn your self in" says an old friend who wishes to remain anonymous and provided for us the following back ground information about Mr. Campbell that may shed light on the situation. Isaac attended Temple City Schools until his parents separated when he was a young teen. Isaac moved in with his mother in Baldwin Park and resided in her garage. An amazing guitarist and always interested in the martial arts, Issac who has a white mother and a black father went through a stage in his life where he suffered from an identity crises. He chose the martial arts as his identity, along with the wacky tabacy life style. The anonymous friend said that"Isaac always had a super big ego and in many ways was a very controlling person". Issac became very good at the martial arts and so much so that it was the focus of his life. Severl people we interviewed who new Isaac all say that even with his martial arts, Isaac was not a violent person and they could not imagine that he would intentionaly do such a thing.
It is thought that Isaac, not realizing his own ability or strength against a 120 lb women, may have inflicted more force than what he had intended and accidentally killed her. Pure speculation of course, but sources say that Isaac would always be messing around doing practice moves on friends. Further speculation would say that Isaac probably did not premeditate this as it would seem that it all erupted when Lu went back to Isaac's to remove her belongings and the events occurred under "heat of passion" or for all you non law people, "in the heat of the moment". This assertion is also supported by the fact that the body was hastily put in a trash can and put into storage. Now if you ask most people, that is the act of a desperate person. A premeditated killer would likely have dumped the body.
Remember If some one asks you to store a 55 gallon drum or a trash can at your house, do your self a favor and ask some questions.
Charges were filed today in this case, but still no Isaac...

Wow! This was shocking! I remember Isaac dearly....He was an amazing person and I'd like to remember him that way!

Big Bry, lets keep Toby out of this were talking about Isaac. Stephy was right on. I really hope Isaac didnt do this and have said prayers for him. I am afraid that he might try and do something to himself out of desperation. Isaac, If you are reading this please don't do any thing stupid its not worth it. Lets just say if and a big if, but if you did do it, becuase it was in the heat of passion you will likely do much less time than if it were premeditated. So you will do time but it is not a life sentence I dont think.
Issac Campbell was captured today in minnappolis Minnisota after a short foot persuit with authorities. Ahhh biggy what do ya know about this? Only Yoking. Isaac faces extradition form Minisota back to California to stand trial for the death of his ex girlfriend. I thoughts and prays are with both the family of the fallen and with the campbell family. We will keep Isaac in prayer.
I am shocked, just finding this out, though it happened 2 years ago. I was close with Isaac in high school and he never was a violent person, NEVER! I can only assume that this was an accident and am saddened to hear this and will pray for everyone involved.
